Online Application Project

Since, Plantnery is the organic skincare brand which has the vision to maintain greenery and be eco friendly the most back to our world. Hence, the inspiration of this work will not be out of the line and prioritize maintaining the concept and story background of the brand. Mood and tone of this application either for the color schemes or design elements will appear and bring the beauty of nature to be used in this artwork.

Challenge

The project “PLANTNERY” stimulates the real situation project which allow the creator to corporate woking with the real client. The brand that the creator aims to corporate with is Thai organic skincare brand named as “Plantnery”. The issue that the brand faced is the limited channel of customer journey, they have only the official website and social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Hence, the challenge for creators is to create and design the new channel which is the application on smart devices. This application needs to be beyond more than online purchasing, the creator must design functions that allow the customers to interact and attract both new and old customers to repeat using the application. (Customer Retention)

Solution

Hence, the application required to be appropriate and fit with the target audience the most. So, the app must be designed in the easiest way to use and attract both new and old users. The creator decided to add the dimension to this application through the function that allows the users to interact with such as the function that allows users to scan their face and it will indicate the skin type and suggest which skincare type from the brand that is appropriate with their skin, the free online consultation with doctors, the function gallery archive that allow them to keep the picture of their facial skin after using the product skincare from the brand in order to observe changes and result after used the product and so on.

 

In each function the users will receive the points for growing up the tree which will send the rewards to them after touching the highest levels. With this kind of function it not only matches with the story background, vision and mission of the brand but it also helps enhance the user to repeat using the application and connect with the brand at the same time.

Target  Audience

Individuals with facial skin problems / customer loyalty

Fonts Used

The main typography or heading line in this work will use the display serif font , “Buljira” which appears curvy and comes with the modern style in order to fit with the image of the brand. For the sub-typography will use the traditional serif font, “Lora” which will come in a more formal way but not outdated style.

Production Details

The production details of this project begin by research about the brand story, their vision, mission and pain points that they are facing which is about to expand their customer journey by requiring the creator to create another channel like application. Then, the creator creates mood and tone also the art direction to fit with the image of the brand. After that, create the user flow and wireframe before making the UI design in Adobe XD.
